Is MuCash really free?
Yes. Adding expenses, splitting, tracking debts, reports — all free and staying that way. Plus only lifts the five-book limit; nothing switches off if you never buy it.
Do the people I split with need the app?
No. Add them as a name and split straight away. If they join properly later, nothing you already recorded is lost.
How do you work out who owes whom?
We net the debts against each other. If you owe Ada and Ada owes Ben, the loop closes and everyone settles in the fewest possible payments.
Do you have access to my bank?
No. We never ask for a bank login and never read your messages. Every figure in the app was typed by you or by someone sharing your book.
How do I get my data out, or delete it?
Any month exports as PDF or CSV from Settings. You can delete your account and everything in it from Settings too, without emailing anyone.
The receipt scan read it wrong — what now?
Whatever it read lands in editable boxes before anything is saved, so just correct the amount and carry on. If one receipt keeps failing, send it to us below and we will tune it.
